It gets escalated to the point where the house expert is
called and the cheese is eaten or the bomb, if it is a bomb,
gets defused or destroyed however they decide to do it.

That is not particularly sensible any more in that the
Jihadists and others are perfectly willing to sacrifice
themselves to achieve their goals, whatever they are, and
see infra.

So you get rid of a few policemen. There are always more
where those came from. I believe that's not the focus of
terrorists these days, aside from the Irish Republican Army,
which is always a bit behind the times (and hasn't in truth
done too much lately).

I find the brown stick has a similar effect, but the brown one

The passport card is what the national ID card evolved into
when it was determined that that program violated the
privacy rights of the Constitution. So it became voluntary
and pretty much forgotten. It is valid identification for
domestic air travel and for whatever international travel
that a driver's license used to be valid for - i.e., surface
travel to Mexico, Canada, and the Caribbean Islands.

Question is did he scurry off and read the memo (available to
the public) that specifically lists this document as sufficient
identification for all domestic air travel, or will the next
person to go through with this credential have to undergo
that particular gauntlet.

Tasty Shad
cat: fishy, main
Serves: 6

1 shad (3 or 4 lb), cleaned, halved
1 lemon
1/2 c wine, any
3 sl bacon

Place the two halves skin side down in a glass pan.
Squeeze the juice of the lemon in a dish, add wine.
Lightly salt the fish, then marinated shad by brushing
the lemon juice and wine into the meat. Place 3 strips
of bacon lengthwise on each slice of fish. Slowly pour
the remaining wine mixture on the fish and allow to
marinate for at least one hour. Then broil about 2"
below your broiler for 15 min. Do not turn fish.
