No, but yo-yos make for fun decorations on those bags. (G) I'll be
co-teaching a basic sewing class (a one day deal) at the seminary next
month, may have the ladies make yo-yos to teach them how to do a running
stitch.

We have a good variety but use them on a regular bais--farmer's market,
Whole Foods, holding sewing projects, got a couple hanging on the wall
in my sewing room with rulers and such like.

About the way I was yesterday. Friday I was out about the same, maybe
split more evenly between sitting and standing. Turned out I spent most
of my time in the kitchen as there was a wedding party co-ordinator but
kitchen needed the extra pair of hands. Groom's mom made the cake but
didn't want to do the cutting for distribution so she was relieved that
I knew how (and was willing) to do that.

-> serger again--used wooley nylon on the sweatshirt. Still have a lot of
-> projects to go before I'm caught up.

 RH> I still have to find a power cord for a serger I got as a freebie this

 RH> summer. Then figure out how to use it....

Go on line to the manufacturer's web site & get a manual. They can be
temperamental beasts, especially in getting the tensions right so best
to have the book to give you some basic guidance. I'm really
appreciating the air jet threading and automatic tension adjusting of my
new one.

 RH> Sounds good to me!  Tell him to try it on sweet potato fries; it's a
 RH> good thing.  Jamaican jerk spices work too.

He had honey butter on them last night, said it was good but a touch of
cinnamon whipped in would make it even better.

-> Usually. The "Addams Family, the Musical" is in Durham right now but
-> with classes and the wedding (Steve is sound man), we can't make it.

The teaser ad on tv mentioned Wednesday getting married.  "News &
Observer" gave it a good review", said Uncle Fester was especially good.
The last show was tonight.
