Win some, lose some. We spent the day pretty much at home. Got a few
projects lined up for the sewing machine, tried a new recipe for supper.
As is, it's not a keeper but we're going to tweak it and see if we like
the tweaked version better. If not, it'll hit the recycle bag.

-> limited. I didn't use that one much so figured it could find a new home.
-> It was the old avocado green.

 RH> Amen - any excuse to get rid of avocado green!

I prefer my avocadoes in guacamole. Went up to a tavern type restaurant
Monday night for supper; I had a chicken fillet with guacamole &
chipotle mayo on a bun. Told the waiter that nest time I'd probably
order it without the mayo, the guacamole at this place is really good. A
strip or 2 of bacon would have tasted good on it as well.

-> adapt. I'll be (co) teaching a sewing class next month at the seminary;
-> have to send the co-ordinator a list of my favorite notions. Seam gague,
-> ripper, paint brush (water color size), tape measure and dual tipped
-> marking pen have all made the list so far.

 RH> Seam rippers RULE!  Quilters safety pins?  They can be rocked in,
 RH> they're bent, and don't stick your fingers to death. They also don't
 RH> fall out of what you're sewing.

I either use no pins or straight pins. Good tip for you--save a few pill
bottles with child proof caps. Put a hole (Steve used a drill) in the
cap, toss your bent/broken pins & needles in there. When full, toss it
in the trash (safely) and grab another one. Nobody gets hurt from a
stray pin prick.

-> Only thing we have cable for is the internet.

We're home a lot but doing other things--studying, cooking, clean up,
studying, writing, reading, studying...............you get the idea.
