The good: no cholesterol. It is also a good source of Vitamin C,
Riboflavin and Calcium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber,
Magnesium, Potassium and Manganese. A minor source of iron.

The bad: This food is very high in sodium, and a large portion of
the calories in this food come from sugars. Less than 1% protein.

A slightly nuttier (oops, bad pun) site had this to say:

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Maple Coconut Shortbread Squares
 Categories: Cookies, Bars
      Yield: 16 servings

  1 1/4 c  Flour
    1/3 c  Sugar
    1/2 c  Butter
      1 c  Flaked coconut
    2/3 c  Maple syrup
    1/4 ts Salt

  In a mixing bowl, stir together the flour and sugar; cut in butter
  until the mixture is crumbly. Press into an 8-inch square baking pan.
  Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes.

  Combine coconut, syrup, and salt in a small saucepan. Cook,
  stirring frequently, until coconut has absorbed most of the syrup,
  about 10 minutes. Spread over warm crumb crust mixture and return
  to the oven for 10 minutes longer. Cut into squares while warm.
  Makes about 16 squares.
