Of course margarine is crap. People have known this for
the longest time. The main reason is that it tastes like
crap, and you know why it tastes like crap? Because it's
gone rancid. The trans fats thing is also true, or at
least was true in the olden days, but the industry has
changed a lot since the olden days; most of the other
stuff you quote - without citation, which is no fair -
is bogus.

 MM> Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys.

The best way to fatten turkeys is to use grain, which is what
they do. There would be no reason to use margarine to fatten
turkeys, and to my knowledge nobody has tried to do so.

Find me this study.

Water is but one atom away from being rotten egg smell. Plus
you yourself probably share bunches of ingredients with paint.
Cheese shares ingredients with paint.  Not a big deal.

Not so. In fact, if it were as inert as all that, it would
be harmless. A big issue with margarine is actually that it
does oxidize into bad things - and it smells notably different
when that happens. Believe me on this.

Come on, that's baloney. You have no such obligation, and the
Chinese don't say that you do.

I will agree with that, though.

      Title: FROSTY SUMMER FUDGE BROWNIE DELIGHT
 Categories: Cookies
      Yield: 15 Servings

      1 c  Butter or margarine
      4 oz HERSHEY'S Baking Chocolate
           -(unsweetened),
           - broken into pieces
      2 c  Sugar
      4    Eggs
      1 ts Vanilla extract
      1 c  All-purpose flour
    1/4 ts Salt
    1/2 ga Raspberry frozen yogurt
           -OR peach frozen yogurt
           - softened
    1/2 c  HERSHEY'S Chocolate Chips
           -(regular or mini)

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 15-1/2x10-1/2x1-inch jelly roll
  pan.

  2. In large microwave-safe bowl, place butter and chocolate. Microwave
  at HIGH (100%) 1-1/2 to 2 minutes or until chocolate is melted and
  mixture is smooth when stirred; stir in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time,
  beating until blended; add vanilla. Stir in flour and salt until
  blended. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.

  3. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes
  out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Spread softened frozen
  yogurt over top of brownie. Cover; freeze until firm, at least 4 hours.
  Sprinkle chocolate chips over top, just before serving. Cut into pieces;
  serve frozen. Freeze leftover dessert. 15 servings.
