Yeah, I did too, Nancy. I think that was the closest when driving in from 
Avon. There was a couple of others, but that was the last one I remember 
being open too. I wish they were still here also. There was a similar place 
in Brighton/Henrietta. It was at south towne then moved to a place off of 
Bright-hen townline road. It was like champion, they produced the clothing, 
hats etc. and sold the seconds for good prices, actually even their regular 
line was cheaper cuz you bought straight from the factory. I dunno, I can't 
remember their name, but I don't think they are around either. It has been a 
couple of years since I was there. I'll have to ask around.

No I can't say that I have. I haven't had them for awhile. With the diabetes, 
I probably go all out and have Pierogies maybe once a year. I like em, even 
the mrs. T's ( but not like the homemade things ) but don't eat them that 
often. Ever want a good one, go to the St. Stanislaus Festival this summer. I 
have tasted no better. They are not the potato filled ones, but the cheese 
filled ones, and boy are they good. I also when I get the chance and it's not 
too often, When I go to Buffalo, in the public Market they have some made by 
Some Orthodox Monks, You buy them fresh, they aren't cheap, like 75 cents a 
piece the last time I bought some, but they are also good. Flavor, texture 
and all is excellent. Creamy and delicious. ( mouth watering )

That is why I was interested, as the fiber causes slower and or less 
absorption. I know certain whole grain products cause little effect on my 
blood sugars whereas I can look at pasta and it spikes <grin>. I have found 
that instead of sandwiches on bread, I can eat a whole grain wrap or ones 
with added extra fiber and I am good. Can enjoy it and it does not affect 
Blood sugars very much at all.

I hear ya, Dad was into that.. I just did not like it. It could well be my 
tastebuds, as we have talked before about stevia. People love it. I myself 
get a nasty aftertaste and don't like anything with an aftertaste. Same with 
a lot of whole grain products I have tried, I just get a bitter aftertaste. 
OTOH I can drink diet pop (soda) <grin>, cuz I have to in some cases and it 
does not bother me with todays sweetners, Yet normal people will not touch 
the stuff as they hate the aftertaste, which I don't get. I guess we all are 
different in this respect too.
