      Title: Spicy Spanish Potatoes
 Categories: Sides, Spanish
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
    900 g  Potatoes- new; cooked/halved
      1    Onions; chop
      2 tb Oil- olive
      2    Garlic cloves; crush
      2    Chillies- red; chop fine
      1 tb Sp- paprika
    400 g  Tin tomatoes; chop
      2 tb Tomato puree
      1 tb Vinegar- white wine
           Salt
           Sp- black pepper
      2 tb H- flat parsley; chop
           ;2 garnish
           ; NUTRITIONAL
   1040    ;Calories
   4360    ;Kjoules
     20 g  ;protein
    172 g  ;carbohydrate
     28 g  ;fat
     16 g  ;fibre
    3/8 g  ;sodium/Na
 
  Heat the oil in a large pan & add the onion & fry, stirring, for 5
  minutes. Add the garlic, chilli & paprika to the pan & cook for 1
  minute. Add the potatoes, tomatoes, puree & vinegar, & season with
  salt & pepper, & gently bring to the boil, then reduce the heat.
  Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, till the
  sauce is thickened. Garnish the potatoes with parsley & serve hot or
  cold.
  
  These make a wonderful accompaniement to grilled or barbeques meat or
  fish.
