Neither of our teams is doing particularly well
at the moment. I was certain that Bobby Valentine
was a crummy match for the Sox, but I didn't think
they would be quite so bad for each other as that.

Hard to say. I ended up pulling an all nighter two
nights ago; I'm not so good at that as I used to be, and
it was pretty unproductive. My system, well, who knows
what my normal state is and whether this lifestyle is
damaging it or not.

Have you been to the latter recently?

I was pleased by the Asian museum, but as I'd recently
been to the MFA Boston, the Freer, and the Palace Museum
in Taipei, I thought "medium-size potatoes."

You know who has a surprisingly wonderful museum? Kansas
City. I think it's called Nelson-Atkins, and it has one
of the top 5 Asian collections in the country - though
unfortunately only a couple rooms of stuff is on display.

Also Manchester, NH, with good Impressionists, Americans,
and a Wright house open for tours - similar in scope to
Milwaukee, though Milwaukee is better on the New Englanders
and has an absolutely stunning building.

      Title: Grilled Prawns with Fresh Coriander
 Categories: Chinese, Seafood
   Servings:  4

      1 lb Prawns, fresh or frozen

MMMMM-----------------------------MARINADE----------------------------------
      1 tb Light soy sauce
      1 ts Rice wine or dry sherry
      1 ts Sesame oil

MMMMM------------------------------SAUCE-----------------------------------
      2 tb Fresh coriander, minced
      2 ts White rice vinegar
      1 ts Fresh ginger, finely chopped

  PREHEAT THE BROILER. Peel the prawns and discard the shells. Using a small
  sharp knife, split the prawns partially and remove the fine digestive cord.
  Pat the prawns dry with paper towels. Mix the marinade and combine with the
  prawns and let sit for 10 minutes. Prepare the sauce ingredients and mix
  together and set aside. Lay the prawns on a baking tray big enough to fit
  under the broiler. Or alternatively, you could cook them on the barbecue,
  weather permitting. Cook the prawns 3 minutes on one side, turn and cook
  for 2 minutes on the other. Turn onto a serving platter and serve with the
  sauce.
