A good quart to 6 cups, depending on how big your handful is. My hand is
small, Steve's is big. I think he uses about a quart of water tho, not
picking quite a hand full. I should drink more; the cough is still
lingering.

Hopefully the picture is improving by now. I know, some meds take longer
to really take effect tho. She's home tho, and that's the important
thing.

Dad would like the meat, mashed potato and vegetable meals but he is not
fond of ethnic foods for the most part. Mom and Dad visited us in AZ &
TX quite a bit but never wanted to go out for Mexican food. OTOH, there
was a German restaurant in AZ they really liked. Some Italian is OK with
them but not much, and not too "exotic" on the seasonings. I use
oregano, parsley, basil, garlic & salt/pepper which is too much for
them. They eat my sauce but I think they prefer their plainer version.
Other than that and the occaisional Chinese, they don't go for the
variety of ethnic foods Steve and I like. We had Mediterranian yesterday
for lunch, Indian today.

It's probably right where I left it, but covered with grease & grime.
Nothing that a good scrubbing won't take care of. I'd like her to clean
out her kitchen cabinets of whatever she doesn't use or is too broken or
chipped up to use but I won't hold my breath on that happening while
she's still alive. Last year when we were up Dad talked about giving my
sister the bread machine they have; I wouldn't be surprised to see it
still on their counter when we go up in a couple of months.

And seeing more and more specialists. Good thing we've got a reasonable
co pay on our medical insurance.
