I've read of some of your travels there. I wanted to try a muffalata
sandwich but Steve didn't, even with my suggestion of splitting half a
one like you and Gail do.

There was a line out the door at about 7-ish, got longer in back of us.
We got in about 7:30. Steve says I got the better meal; I agree, with
the exception of the potato salad.

We parked the car and took the shuttle to the convention center. The
first night we were in town, after we got to our room and off loaded the
luggage, we went over there to register. Came back and tried to find
supper. Ended up at the pub area of the Sheriton, only because it was
late and I needed to eat. Steve had a Kobe beef burger and was less than
impressed. I had a couple of grilled chicken breast tenders and lots of
veggies. OK, but not great. Breakfast was free at the hotel, typical
American version of a continental, IOW, I had to pick & choose
carefully, supplimenting with what we'd packed. Lunch on Tuesday was a
salad for me, sandwich for Steve as we went to different "small" group
sessions. Wednesday we went to the seminary alumni & friends lunch,
chicken again.

Thursday am we checked out and headed to Huntsville, Alabama for the
Saturday wedding of a couple of friends from school & church.  On the
way, we stopped for a "stretch the legs" break and asked the clerk at
the gas station where a good place to eat was. She reccommended a truck
stop type place just up the road, saying she ate there quite a bit. We
had a super tender pot roast, fried green tomatoes, salad & I forget the
3rd vegetable. Steve ate one of his jalapeno corn muffins, took the
other one. I took both of my crackin' corn muffins and enjoyed them
later. We came in near the end of the lunch rush; there was a fair line
waiting to pay at the register--a good sign. Our meal came out quickly;
the price was reasonable. We'd go back if we're ever in the area
