They do have an on line version but, since it's a pay to play, I don't
know if it's more up to date than the magazine. Steve wanted to check
something out a few years ago but decided not to pay for the information
on the site. So, we've gotten along right well without it.

Samsung is pretty decent. Our newest (bought Nov 09) microwave is a
Panasonic; it replaced an 8 year old Sharp. I'd suggest asking friends
for opinions on appliances; if you come up with the same brands over a
good sampling of folks, you probably have your best reference there.

No tears shed there if not home made, IMO. I make it from scratch, using
a few things not in the standard recipies.

One step forward, 2 steps back. Count your blessings that he's still
eating, even if it isn't always what he wants to eat.

I'll have to find the quick kim chee recipe one of the vendors at the
farmer's market gave me. It's not one that takes hours to ferment, etc
and not totally authentic but fits the bill when you're craving
something on that line. I made it some months ago and both of us enjoyed
it. I've also bought kim chee in the commissary (when we were stationed
in GA) but don't recall any MSG listed--I wouldn't have bought it if it
were a listed ingredient.
