Currently the bathroom only has one item
in it...the "throne"...no window, no shower
(yet), no tile...just a bare room with a light
and a stool. Hopefully the plumbing issues will
all be resolved on Monday and we can at least
have water again in the kitchen. Oh, did I tell
you about that? Last day at the ballpark, Anne
picked me up from the bus home and let me know
the drain under the sink had sprung a leak..not
the gooseneck trap...but the cast iron Y pipe 
that both sinks drain into...it had a huge (in 
plumbing terms, you could stick your thumb
into it) hole in it....so it gets "added" to
the bathroom agenda...

Hopefully this will be done in a week or so 
and we can then entertain the idea of entertaining
again. I'll keep you posted!

We sent him to the Yanks with a bucket load
of cash as well...The team "line" is that it 
was out of respect for what he has done for us.
Still I don't see why a team with an 85 million
payload has to send $$$ to a team that pays over
240 mill to it's players.

Funny thing is the Canadian fans were chanting
CANA DA...and the USA fans were chanting back...
and the funniest of all is that the only Canadian
player in the ballpark was on the Mariners!!
