Did he try it straight or in something? If you try it straight, it is
"quite" hot but if you add it to something, the heat is tempered. A bit
of heat is added to whatever it is mixed with but it also adds a bit of
enhancement to the overall flavor. A dash or so in a bowl of salsa or
chili might be good for starters. Just play around with it, use it up.

I ask how they classify the heat levels and sort of base it on that.
Usually I go for mild to medium, sometimes straight meduim, depending on
the definitions. The one Indian place we've gone to several times, I
asked for mild to meduim the first time we went; Steve asked for medium
to hot. We were both satisfied with the heat level. That was for a
sampler; the other times we've had the buffet. I've had my eyes water a
couple of times on some of the dishes! (I usually get very small
portions the first time thru, then more of what I like if I go back for
more.)

I'm not sure; I've read both good and bad about fracking. It's a hot
issue in NC now too; I'm not sold on it.

That must be some fancy lift--is it the basic stairwell thing or more
like an elevator?  My parents got the stairwell one and paid in the
$1,000 or so range. Then too, it just goes up a single, straight flight
of stairs.

My mom really needed it for some years before they put it in--just had
to talk abotu it long enough to convince them that they had a good idea
