The first time it was served to me, I cleaned my plate, so
seconds were automatically supplied. The cleansing was slower
the second time, but by that first meal, the mother had it
firmly in her head that that foodstuff was a hit on wheels.

Better, they are supposed to help stabilize the drug,
probably by shielding it from water. Plus maybe control
the absorption rate a little, the lactose increasing it
because it's so soluble and the talc decreasing it for
the opposite reason.

I took some Lasix in the early afternoon, my mistake
being ingesting it after rather than before lunch, so
it took its good time arriving at its destination
behind all that traffic. So it didn't start working
until near dinnertime, and here it is 8 hours later and
I'm still running. We did have laksa for dinner, so the
increase in fluid might also have had something to do.

Spinach fettuccine
cat: vegetable, main
servings: 4

12 oz pk wide noodles
1 onion
1 garlic clove
butter
1 pk frozen spinach, thawed
1/4 c cream
s&p
1 c Parmesan, more for sprinkling

This is sort of like steakhouse creamed spinach
tossed with pasta, and it really is sort of good.

Boil water for noodles. Cook noodles according to
package directions.

Mince onion and garlic and wilt in butter. Add
spinach, which has been squeezed to get rid of
excess moisture. Add cream and bring to a boil.
Cook a minute or two. Salt and pepper to taste.

When noodles are done, drain and toss with a pat
of butter. Toss with spinach mixture. Serve with
additional cheese on the side.
