Did she recognize the liver as such before anyone else told?

Now that's adventurous...  :)   How old was she then...?

I suspect that I never really make a proper ratatoullie... I just throw
together green and yellow squash and eggplant, usually with canned
tomatoes, maybe some additional spicing... and cook it all together... 
We often serve it with lamb patties...
