Either way, they should have the resources and contacts to be able to

A temporary (or better, moveable) one is a quicker install, and can be

She might be getting a better diabetic diet in the hospital... on the
other hand, I've not been all that impressed with hospital diets when it
comes to special needs, although I will admit they've gotten better
about making things nutritious and reasonably tasty.

You might be able to get the name of the doctor from your dad, and take
it from there... or ask about it from the nurses at the hospital...
