That's what we'd try to do as well. Biggest problem would be in adapting
the kitchen to a wheelchair I would think; things like the sink & stove
are at heights for normal use but a wheelchair bound person would need
lower ones. Also, knobs, etc on the stove would have to be reachable
without having to reach over the coils/burners. Unfortunately, my
parent's house is not very handicap friendly.

She will with the therapy but other than neccessary moving, I doubt she
will. Before the break she was spending most of the day in her recliner
semi sleeping.

I hope she's doing there now; it's too much stress on Dad to try to do
everything, including the cooking & clean up.

Only if they are observed. I don't think Dad is too savvy on what a good
diabetic diet is either. He's somewhat willing to adapt but not 100%, by
a long shot.

 RH> taken in until 10 minutes after the appointment time, all went well.

 NB> That's pretty typical, though...  Glad it went well once you got in.

When they took people in who came after I did, it annoyed me. But, once
I got going with the process, things went smoothly. This will be same
day surgery so I should be home by late afternoon or early evening.
Probably won't eat too much supper tho.
