How about Lapsang Souchong? I have this fond notion that
people who like Lapsang Souchong are going to be favorably
inclined toward peaty smoky malts.

A little raw sometimes. On the other hand there's a Time article
from a few years back that claimed that unaged white whiskeys
tended to rate higher in blind tastings than aged dark ones.
I've not done the obvious experiment but would be interested
to do so.

Fresh from the still is more like 2 weeks max rather than
2 years min!

At the new store near Gail and Dale, popular outcry (read: the
boozeriums and groceries that would lose business to Wegmans
if this had been allowed) stopped them from having a similar
arrangement, the liquor and/or wine and beer store having been
planned on being a semi-independent enterprise housed in the
upstairs of the grocery part.

Well, if you were going to buy Christmas presents or stock up,
10% off would be a good thing, but for those for whom a
discretionary purchase of $50 is not insignificant, yeah, a
bunch of deciding is in order.

Front Porch Cocktail
categories: booze, odd
Servings: 1

4 oz Lapsang Souchong tea
1 1/2 oz Absolut citron
1/2 oz limoncello
1/2 oz lemon juice
Splash of smoky scotch
Lemon slice
h - Additional supplies
Small spray bottle

Brew tea according to box instructions. Set aside to cool.

Pour vodka, limoncello, lemon juice, and cooled tea over ice. 

Mist with three sprays of scotch.

Garnish with lemon slice.
