I think it was more of a chemical 
reaction...The more Valentine spoke
the lest chemistry existed, and the 
fans reacted.

I'd bet money against it. A) he's a free
agent now, and I'm not sure the Yanks want
to pay him what he'd "like" to get. B) he's
not nearly the player he used to be and his
numbers don't indicate a "big payday" contract
anymore. and C) I'm not sure that he'd do
well for a whole year in the NYC press.

enjoying the series, it's been pretty
good so far. Was scared when Fister took
a line drive right off his noggin though!!
I am amazed he was able to stand up
much less stay in the game after that one!!
