Yes, and I've done small amounts of chopping onoin, pepper, etc for
meals. Steve rolled out a pie crust tho tonight, one that I'd made pre
surgery and put in the freezer. I sauteed some onion & shitake
mishrooms, steamed some spinach, grated swiss cheese and added some
kiefer, nutmeg, a couple of eggs, country ham "scraps & mexican oregano
to the the crust & baked it for  about half an hour at 350. Steve said
that I can do it again, intentionally. This was an unintentional recipe,
just making use of various things I had on hand that needed using, but
it was good. The spinach and mushrooms came from last Saturday's
farmer's market.

Turned downright cold last night, might get our first frost tomorrow or
Friday night. I picked all the tomatoes off the plant this morning (and
it was picked up by the trash crew about an hour later).

I intend to give it rest; there's a lot of cutting involved with the
quilt. Before I do any, I need to lay out the pictures to get an idea of
how the quilt will look and calculate the yardage I need to buy.

One or both of us are up there just about every week. Steve got some
beets last week we've not used yet but everything else he got has been
used.

Could have used a bit more seasoning, it was on the bland side. But,
good fish and didn't have to worry about boning it out.

I can switch off hands for the measure & dump. Alternately, I can haul
out the bread machine, not quite as much measure & dump but not quite as
good a loaf as the KA assisted bread.
