I got to see the story unfold, as I've been not able to reply for about
a week, due to the crisis here... I'm so sorry, and you and Annie and
all have had my prayers and thoughts even though I haven't been a
visible presence...

Not at all surprising... she's been caught up in his care for a while,
and it's stopped suddenly...

I'm glad that she's doing okay... hope that's still the case.  In any
case, when you get a chance, pass on my love and hugs to her... even
though we've never met, she's been in my thoughts and prayers for a
while now, from your reports...

Seems like a good idea...  :)   She'll need the support of good friends,
for a while and also especially at the holidays...
