Marketplace is trying to get us to buy more slamon and for the not so
aware consumers, this sounds like a great idea. Those of us that are
aware of what goes on to make the "super fish" most likely won't buy it
since we don't buy farm raised seafood to begin with.

I know one guy will most likely be there, saw him at the 25th & 35th and
I think he said he'd made all the others. AFAIK, nobody in our class
achieved celebrity status--a lot of us went on to positions that needed
filling in teaching, ministry, etc. I married Steve and have done some
travel, more than probably any of my high school, but not as much as
some of my college classmates. I've not "made a name for myself" in any
big field but have been known and respected by people just about
wherever we've lived. I've also learned how to cook quite a wide variety
of international foods, partly from our travels, partly from the
influence of the echo here. I've met a lot of people, some characters
and a lot of just plain, down to earth folks. No celebrity status but a
lot of good living.

Seems a lot of folks are being told they have it, but some of that is
people aging into it. The Boomer generation is now the one facing the
initial challenge of "old age" and some aren't taking too kindly to it.
(G) I'm not thrilled with the diagnosis but I'm doing what I can to
manage it the best I can. Some of that includes education of others as I
go about making my day to day food choices so they are aware of what it
takes to manage it well. It's no longer the scary early death sentence
it was--if you do what you're supposed to do.
