He does use Linux, and yes, he will clean up the bathroom if he leaves
it in a mess. He also cleans up the kitchen, some nights shooing me out
to watch Jeopardy while he does the clean up.

No, I'd make the barn into my sewing studio and renovate enough of the
house to have a store room off the kitchen. I'd also have a big walk in
pantry, maybe combine the 2 rooms into one big one. But yes, after
living in this small house, the thought of a big old farm house sounds
good--except for the upkeep.

Yes, spoil the kids and then leave them with the parents to unspoil. Got
a photo card from Rachel the other day--Sarah at 4 looks so much like
her mom did at that age.
