I mostly listen to pubic radio except for Bob & Tom and their sophomoric humour
most mornings - which is where I learned about the Soda Stream and that Busch
Lite beer is bragging about being first loser (silver medal) at the Great
American Beer Festival

I drank it just a couple of times ... I prefer Co'Cola if I am drinking cola.
And this had an off taste from what I am used to ... not to mention being
syrupy sweet.
 
I once got hold of a clear lemon-lime soda in Kentucky (similar to 7-up) that
was even more heavily caffeinated than JOLT. called 8-up or 8-Alive or
something like that. It was just local to the Lexington, KY area I think.

      Title: 7 Up Bundt Cake
 Categories: Cakes, Desserts, Citrus
      Yield: 1 cake
 
  1 1/2 c  Butter
      3 c  Sugar
      5    Eggs
      3 c  Flour
      2 tb Lemon extract
    3/4 c  7-up
 
  Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy. Add
  eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
  Add flour. Beat in lemon extract and 7-Up. Pour batter
  into well greased and floured bundt pan.

  Bake at 325øF/160øC. for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool 10
  minutes on wire rack before moving from pan.
