Doesn't it. Right down there with drowning in sewage. Even if
you think there's a pony there somewhere.

Every woman (amd many men) I've been closely associated with
has asked me "aren't you cold?" when I hang around with them
anywhere between merely barefoot and totally naked, depending
on the degree of closeness. Not only do I not like sweaters, I
am not that fond of clothing in general.

I once went out with an extraordinarily attractive young
woman who dressed to the nines, and when with her formally
I would dress with the best that I could afford. There were
a few magical (not in the right way) moments, as when we
were coming back from Symphony and were walking up the side
of Cambridge Common and these two thugs started walking behind
us whispering to each other things like "they look like
they're rich"; and I was just planning what to do, somewhat
panickedly, when a cop car rolled up and stopped the duo; we
just kept going as though nothing had happened. I think she
never even noticed (I have good ears; she plays the harmonica).
Later on she said, I'm a clothes horse; aren't you a clothes
horse? And around then I knew she wasn't for me and started
going with someone else more sensible; I did pine for her for
quite a while, though, as her face was spectacular.

It was sort of funny to see the single entry staring me
down on the screen.

People do that. Funny thing, there was a sci-fi story
that ends with a beer float, which is supposed to be
some kind of unique thing. I believe that these floats
have become popular in certain perverted circles, which
is not quite enough to make me want to try one.

      Title: Mutton Porkolt With Cabbage
 Categories: Main dish
      Yield: 4 servings

MMMMM----AMERICAN MEASUREMENTS----
      3 lb Mutton
      1 oz Lard
      6    Onions
           Salt
      1 tb Paprika
      2 lb Fresh cabbage; shredded

MMMMM----EUROPEAN MEASUREMENTS----
    750 g  Mutton
     25 g  Lard
      6    Onions
           Salt
      1 tb Paprika
      1 kg Fresh cabbage; shredded

  Fry the onions a golden-brown in boiling hot lard, add paprika and
  the meat cut into squares. Salt to taste and stew slowly (Care must
  be taken never to have much liquid; when necessary a little water can
  always be added). When the meat is half done add well washed shredded
  cabbage, steam till meat is done, and serve.
