That we have to find out. Dad's not been available on Skype much lately
so probably a regular phone call will be in order. Problem with that is
that even with a hearing aid compatable phone he doesn't catch much so
he usually gives the phone to Mom. She appears to understand more but
how much actual information understood and given to Dad is unknown. She
also tries to cut the conversation very short so we have to sort of
ignore her attempts and plow thru to get said what needs saying.

But until arraingements can be made, something is needed. I don't know
how it works where they are--if someone comes in to go over with them
their likes/dislikes or something is just delivered--but it would be a
big help if my dad didn't have to do the cooking. I think also he thinks
it'll drain their finances.

I know, it makes things somewhat easier but dealing with an aging parent
is not an enjoyable job. One good thing about it is that we're seeing
what we would want/not want for ourselves as we age. The big kitchen and
pantry I pipe dream about might not be the best for me in 25 years.
