Hi Hap,

On the triage sheet they just had me down for a cold, no mention of
asthma/bronchitis except in the discharge notes. I told them when I came
in that I had bronchitis but the doctor had to confirm it for himself
before giving me antibiotics. But, he did order a chest x-ray to rule
out pneumonia and gave me a 14 day course of antibiotics instead of just
a Z-pack.

Puts the food on the table and pays the bills. We do have a fair amount
of stuff in the freezer so we won't starve--hit up the farmer's market
for fresh greens every week too.

And their parents allow it................(no comment). Our girls never
did that so I guess we raised them right. (G)

Wouldn't be surprising, who knows, it may lead to a position somewhere.

 eventually gave me the  retirement check...which I appreciate now
 more than ever!!

Pros & cons to all. Steve didn't like the job he had (filling soda
machines at MCAS Cherry Point) before going into the Army but it kept
the roof over out heads. Food Stamps paid the grocery bill. It was a
major step up in pay to get a PFC's pay; we no longer needed the Food
Stamps but we were still eating very economically.

Not surrpised that you know so many; the scratch was referring to a
certain person who ran for political office some years ago.

I can resist it fairly well most of the time. Seeing good numbers on the
blood sugar testing, fitting into clothes without having to buy larger
sizes, things like that make resisting easier.
