New jingle - I wonder if I can peddle it to their advertising people "When you
run out - run out to Wegman's" with the pause between the two "run out" phrases
and ending on a "smiling" tone. I am not totally sure it is original -- my
attic gets clogged with things sometimes as I am as much a mental pack-rat as I
am a physical hoarder. But, it has been running through my head since I told
Burt "time for a trip to Wegman's".

The quality is pretty decent. Nothing junky in the general merch. And the
groceries/produce/meat are great ... both the national brands and the Meijer
branded stuff. And not much on the merchandise side is made in Wally World's
favourite place. I bought a pair of shorts there that was made in Lesotho --
which I had to go home and Google. It's a small country 30,000 square Km with a
population of just over 2 million. And completely surrounded by the Republic of
South Africa.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Spinach & Tangerine Soup
 Categories: Soups, Poultry, Citrus, Greens, Vegetables
      Yield: 6 servings

  1 1/2 l  Chicken stock
     75 g  Yellow split peas
     25 g  Unsalted butter
    100 g  Spring onions; chopped
      1 ts Ground turmeric
    225 g  Fresh spinach; fine chopped
     40 g  Parsley; chopped
     50 g  Coriander; chopped
           Grated zest of 2 tangerines
           Juice of 3 tangerines
     20 g  Ground rice or rice flour
    150 ml Cold water
    225 g  Natural yoghurt

  Spinach and Tangerine Soup is a traditional Lesothan
  recipe for a classic soup of spinach, tangerine juice and
  zest cooked in chicken stock flavoured with split peas and
  onions and thickened with ground rice and yoghurt.

  Soak the split peas over night. The following day add the
  chicken stock to a pan and bring to a boil. Drain the
  split peas and add to the pan. Reduce to a simmer and cook
  for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a pan and
  add the spring onions. Fry gently for 5 minutes before
  adding the turmeric. Fry for 1 minutes then add the cold
  water and ground rice and stir in. Transfer the contents
  of the pan to the stock pot then add the coriander,
  spinach, parsley and tangerine zest and juice to the pan,
  cover and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  Ladle the soup into dishes, garnish with a dollop of
  yoghurt and sprinkle fresh coriander over the top.

  Serve immediately.
