I have a friend whose son developed tinnitus in the Army
for perhaps the same reason. Not a fun condition; I've
gotten intermittent bouts of it, probably from pressure
changes at altitude coupled with a sinus infection. Not
fun at all.

It has been said that nice smells can be helpful, but I've
not found an effect either way.

Funny, the only serious side effect I've heard of of
indomethacin is blood thinning, and even though that's
an issue for me, the docs put me on it anyhow. There
might be small digestive problems or even that same
tinnitus, but I've been told it's worse with other
NSAIDs, especially the classic salicylates (aspirin, etc.)

I've encountered a new kind of Spam, to me anyhow. When
I log into Gmail, I get this sidebar that says:

xoxblondesammyxo81@jabber.org wants to be able to chat with you. Okay?

Really ...

      Title: Spam Jello
 Categories: Salads, Weird
      Yield: 6 Servings

      1 lg Box lemon or lime Jello
      1 lg Can Spam
      1 md Onion, chopped
    1/2 c  Boiling water
    1/2 c  Ice cold water
    1/2 c  Mayonnaise
    1/2 c  Sour cream
    1/2    Bell pepper; chopped
      4    Hard boiled eggs; chopped
    1/4 c  Relish; (pickle, corn, etc.)
      2    Stalks celery; chopped fine
      2 dr Tabasco

  Dissolve Jello in boiling water.  Add cold water, mayonnaise and sour cream
  to Jello. Chop Spam; add to Jello with remaining ingredients. Chill until
  firm. Makes 6 to 8 servings.  This recipe is excellent on a hot day.
