The A1C is quite excellent. Also the drop in drug dosage. I try to keep my
fasting BS between 90 and 100. 75 is the bottom of the acceptable range, as 120
is the top. Doctors (and I) like to keep in in the middle of the road.

Yeah, but the Taco Sloppo hit was from a bogus claim made against it. And
responded with an ingredients list and a couple of statements:

Here's the official ingredient list for Taco Bell's "seasoned beef": Beef,
Water, Seasoning [Isolated Oat Product, Salt, Chili Pepper, Onion Powder,
Tomato Powder, Oats (Wheat), Soy Lecithin, Sugar, Spices, Maltodextrin, Soybean
Oil (Anti-Dusting Agent), Garlic Powder, Citric Acid, Caramel Color, Cocoa
Powder (Processed With Alkali), Silicon Dioxide, Natural Flavors, Yeast,
Modified Corn Starch, Natural Smoke Flavor], Salt, Sodium Phosphate

At Taco Bell, we buy our beef from the same trusted brands you find in the
supermarket, like Tyson Foods.  We start with 100 percent USDA-inspected beef. 
Then we simmer it in our proprietary blend of seasonings and spices to give our
seasoned beef its signature Taco Bell taste and texture.  We are proud of the
quality of our beef and identify all the seasoning and spice ingredients on our
website.  Unfortunately, the lawyers in this case elected to sue first and ask
questions later -- and got their "facts" absolutely wrong.  We plan to take
legal action for the false statements being made about our food.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Sign Of The Chihuahua Meat Seasoning
 Categories: Spices, Chilies, Herbs
      Yield: 5 tablespoons

MMMMM------------------------FIRST PART-----------------------------
      1 tb Chilli spice mix
  1 1/2 ts Cumin; ground
    1/2 ts Coriander; ground
    1/2 ts Cilantro leaves; dried
      1 ts Instant tea powder
    1/2 ts Dry minced parsley
    1/2 ts Black pepper
    1/4 ts (ea) garlic salt/onion salt

MMMMM-----------------------SECOND PART-----------------------------
      1 ts Dry mustard
      1 ts Ground turmeric
      1 ts Sugar
      1 tb Paprika
      1 tb Seasoned salt
 
  Combine first group of ingredients and sift together 3
  times. Funnel into bottle with tight fitting cap. Keep out
  of direct sunlight and use within 6 months, or refrigerate
  to use in one year. Makes 3 TB of seasoning.
   
  For taco seasoning, use 2T of last group of ingredients
  (mixed together) added to the 3T of above seasoning
  mixture for 1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef.
