They changed them a lot in '83 apparently; the 1982 version was the first 
one and they still hadn't worked the kinks out.

It was actually a decent car, reliable except when the computer died once, 
and it didn't mind starting after sitting out all night as long as the 
temperature was above zero.  I did have to replace the choke valve and the 
computer, but the head gasket is what killed it. The repair costs were 
higher than the book value at that point.
