The one I remember is "Making History" by Stephen Fry, in which a time machine
is used to alter history so that Adolf Hitler was never born.

We have a farmer's market - but, they allow anyone with a pick-up and a box of
produce in. And I have seen those guys peddling Florida tomatoes, and
California raised produce. So, I don't generally go to that market at all.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Farmer's Bran Bread
 Categories: Breads
      Yield: 1 loaf

      2 c  Flour
      3 ts Baking powder
    1/2 ts Baking soda
    1/4 c  Sugar
    3/4 ts Salt
      1 lg Egg
      1 c  Bran
      2 tb Melted shortening
      2 tb Melted butter
      1 c  Sour milk
 
  Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt in
  bowl. Beat egg, add sour milk and bran; stir to mix. Add
  melted shortening and stir into flour mixture. Place on
  floured board and roll to 1/2" thickness.

  Cut into rectangles 2 x 3 inches. Brush top with melted
  butter.

  Form loaf by placing rectangle on edge in pan and bake in
  moderate oven.
