Dunno... they may have misguessed the strength of the bug this year, but
even though the shot didn't keep people from getting it, it still made
things less severe for those that did get it, by and large...

Sounds a lot like my mom, who will vociferously tell you that she
doesn't like garlic, and not to use it in her food...  but if you use it
anyway, she enjoys what is made, and doesn't seem to even realize that
the garlic is in there, making things good...  I suspect the aide just
took him at his word and didn't even try... while Ruth would try and
then back down if it turned out that he DID taste the onion and was
bothered by it...  ;)  meanwhile, it turns out that it's probably the
Idea of Onion that bothers him... and probably anything that reeked of
onion would be over the top for him...

BTW, I like your Kegs "haiku"...  :)
