Nor am I a frequenter - and I won't be. I stopped at one the other night to get
one of their Twofer deals - Whopper, Chicken or Fish. My mistake, I think, was
in having a taste for a fish sandwich. But, apparently what I thought I was
going to get was not what BK delivered ... a squishy white bun, darned near as
much tartar sauce as fish, some shreds of lettuce and several pickles on each
sandwich. Once I had scraped off most of the tartar sauce and binned the
pickles it still was not a good deal. About the only things that they have that
I can get close to liking are the BK Bacon Burger and the BK Stacker.

Nowhere near as good a fish sandwich as the 2/$5 deal at Arby's. Or the
McDonald's Filet O' Fish (which is the best in the Fats Food Bidness).

What I should have done was stop at Popeyes for the 2/$5 Chicken Po'Boy deal.
That is indeed a good deal.
 
MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Crawfish Po'boys
 Categories: Cajun, Seafood, Sauces, Chilies, Breads
      Yield: 6 servings
 
           Oil for frying
      1 c  Cornmeal
    1/2 c  All-purpose flour
      2 ts Creole seasoning
      1 ts Salt
      1 ts Ground black pepper
      1 c  Buttermilk
      2 ts Hot pepper sauce
     16 oz Package crawfish tail meat;
           - rinsed, drained
      4    Hoagie rolls; halved
           - horizontally
           Shredded green leaf lettuce

MMMMM----------------------REMOULADE SAUCE---------------------------
      1 c  Mayonnaise
      3 tb Dill relish
      2 tb Fresh chopped parsley
      2 tb Fresh chopped chives
      2 tb Chopped capers
      2 ts Creole mustard
  1 1/2 ts Chopped shallots
      1 ts Hot pepper sauce
 
  Fill a Dutch oven or deep fryer with vegetable oil to a
  2" depth. Heat oil to 350øF/175øC.
  
  In a medium bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, Creole
  seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  
  In a separate bowl, combine buttermilk and pepper sauce.
  Soak crawfish tails in milk mixture for 10 minutes. 
  Dredge crawfish in flour mixture.
  
  Fry crawfish, in batches, for approximately 3 minutes per
  batch, or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  
  Serve on hoagie rolls with shredded lettuce and Remoulade
  Sauce.
  
  Remoulade Sauce: In a small bowl, combine all ingredients,
  stirring well. Cover and chill.
