Some mornings I'll raid the fridge/pantry for "normal" beakfast stuff,
other days I'll go for the unconventional. We've got a lot of dry cereal
on the shelf now; I'm eating it dry as I'm not overly fond of almond
milk or soggy cereal.

BTW, the egg in bread thing Annie made--we call it "egg in the eye" but
there are countless other names for it. After I flip mine, I like to
layer on some cheese (a good cheddar or swiss) and meat like ham. I'll
let it cook a bit more, then flip it again to crisp up the meat & melt
the cheese a bit. A lot better than plain, if the ingredients are there.

Can't beat good sausage on a home made whole wheat biscuit. It would
also have been good as sausage gravy on a biscuit.

OK, I think Steve has been there but I've not.

But I try to have a lower carb meal in the morning, especially if I'm
not sure how heavy carb the meals I'll have later will be.

I've seen similar, some use chocolate chips for the seeds but this
predates the "invention" of the chip.
