You guys have brought back some memories. In the mid 70's I worked at a,
I believe it may have been regional if not National, JM Fields. Many of
this type of store at that time were dropping off in customers, Losing
them to You know Who.. K-mart! Kmart became the benchmark of that
industry. It sounds funny, but true. Fields along with reps from Gold
Circle, Two Guys and other similar stores were actually sending spies
over to the local KMart once a month to just go through the store and
see what KMart did that made the the Bench Mark of the industry. They
were all dieing and Kmart was prospering big time. Now sadly many are as
You say, at least in our area. They are now the dirty dieing store in
our area. It is sad to see that. From what once was business that could
hold it's head high. I though it might change when they united with
Sears, but Sears is not the store it used to be years ago either. I
should not say that. Sears went through some bad time and poor quality.
I haven't really shopped there in 15 years. They may be better now. But
I rarely go to Kmart anymore. The Walmarts, can be at both ends of the
spectrum, depending on neighborhood and management.


Lemon Thyme Chicken Crunch

     What You need
     
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) Campbell's® Healthy Request® Condensed Cream of Chicken
Soup
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon dried thyme leaves or dried basil leaves, crushed
2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon paprika
4 bone-in chicken breast halves, skin removed (about 2 pounds)
Vegetable cooking spray 


    How to Make It

    1.Stir the soup, water, lemon juice and thyme in a 2-quart saucepan.
      Remove 1/2 cup soup mixture and place in a medium bowl.
    
    2.Stir the bread crumbs and paprika on a plate. Dip the chicken into the 
      1/2 cup soup mixture and coat with the bread crumb mixture.
    
    3.Place the chicken onto a baking sheet. Spray the chicken with the 
      cooking spray. Bake at 375F. for 1 hour or until the chicken is
      cooked through.
    
    4.Heat the remaining soup mixture over medium heat until it's heated 
      through and serve with the chicken.
