Hi Ruth,

It was, yes, but we didn't go in/out too much. The initial in, a recess
in mid morning, a lunch break & then an afternoon recess if I remember
rightly.  Since it was a trial related to the Attica (NY) prison riots,
they had to be super tight on security.  I carried less in my purse then
than I do now so it was not much of a problem for me.

-> I don't know; when our girls went thru, it was pretty bad still. The
-> high school contracted out to Taco Bell, PIzza Hut & Subway to run
-> kiosks in the cafeteria for those that didn't want the short order or
-> regular offerings.

 RH> I'll bet those got twice the business.

Easily that!  The school had 3 lunch periods but there wasn't enough
room in the cafeteria (brand new high school) to accomodate 1/3 of the
kids.  A lot of them grabbed something to eat & went outside on good
days.


 RH> I haven't gotten any real sewing done in the last few days.  Between
 RH> rummage sales and the Coffeehouse I haven't had time.


I'm fitting it in between papers and exams.

For the one class, we were told online is OK but not to use Wiki. That's
why I went to the other.

But there are some nights he doesn't turn in until a while after
midnight and is up again at 6.

-> Small town America--take what you can for shopping.

 RH> It's not much better here for general merchandise stores.  There
 RH> aren't any unless you get on a highway.

That's very often tne case; these stores don't like to build new in
town. They do take over an in town store but it's not as well stocked as
the ones out on the highway.  Stores tend to be in the lesser affluent
neighborhoods when they're in town I've noticed.
