From what I was told, the original concept of squirrel-repellent bird
seed worked well, but it failed because of poor quality control.

Juan would have the benefit of knowing the difference between picante
and caliente, but spotty Fred would just gawp.

Or like Dave D, carry your own small jar of chile.  When dining at a
Thai-Vietnamese restaurant in Hongkong I ordered a red curry, which
came in a spirit burner heated tureen.  It looked lovely, with Asian
eggplant, coconut milk, green beans and mint, but was far too mild.  I
asked a passing waitress for more chili, and she brought a bottle of a
wussy Chinese chili sauce, but then another girl told me to ignore
that, and she gave me a dish of the Vietnamese style chopped chilies
in fish sauce, which was satisfactory.  Dessert was cold mango, hot
sticky rice and cold coconut cream - delightful.

The premier maintains that a Royal Commission into the affairs of the
state government, as the opposition has called for, is not warranted.
Today's anniversary (see below) gives me ideas...

      Title: TEENAGER'S SURVIVAL CHOC-O-MALT THICK SHAKE
 Categories: Drinks, Desserts, Snacks, Easy
      Yield: 2 Servings
 
      1 c  Milk
           Icecream- vanilla
      1 ts Maple syrup
    1/2 c  Chocolate- drinking
    1/2 c  Malt- drinking powder
 
  Place the milk, ice cream & maple syrup in a food processor. Add the
  drinking chocolate & malt.
  
  Process on high for about 10 seconds, then on low for 15 seconds.
  Pour into glasses & serve.
