I understand NC has a goodly share of deer ticks as well.  We're not in
an area where we are not likely to pick any up but you never know.  I
try to stay clear of brushy areas anyway.  Last year, when we first
moved in, Steve cleared away a good bit of brush from the back yard but
he didn't pick up any ticks.

OK, it was a thought.  You might find it helpful for this project tho.
Just make sure you use it in a super well ventilated area--outside on a
calm day maybe. Then be careful where you spray; that stuff is super
gummy.

At least you're not trying to do it in super heat & humidity.  Looks
like we'll be in the mid to upper 80s, with a couple of 90 degree days
this week.  Weatherman said we might get some nights in the upper 50s,
finally!

Keep a pair of gloves handy; juggling that cold stuff around freezes the
hands quickly.  Steve had to move our freezer today; an almost full jug
of liquid detergent fell off a shelf & onto the floor.  We lost about a
third of it.  But, to clean up the area, Steve had to move the freezer
as it's right by the washer & dryer.  Old towels to sop it up, rinse out
really good, mop the floor with them, repeat several times.  Then wash
the floor with plain water, toss the towels into the washer (heavy duty,
with extra rinse, then another rinse & spin) and dryer.

I got the fridge freezer somewhat straightened out today too.  At least
I've got a better idea of what's in there, even if I didn't write it
down.  Got some stock making to do to use up odds & ends of stuff put in
there for that purpose.
