We only had the one 6 year stretch when we could get it in Germany. For
a while, we thought the Army might send us back over there but they
never did. So, we have only bought the US version of Nutella since, and
not very often after the girls left the house.

We've enjoyed it. I grabbed a box of the whole grain version (vs the
cracked) in a store the other day. And, you know we use brown rice all
the time; it's got a better flavor than bland white rice.

Depends on if you're feeding a group regularly or not. It's also the way
my parents buy elbow macaroni. I buy the one pound bags but on a regular
basis; I feed a group of 18 about once a month plus we eat a lot of
pasta.

Any possible guesstimates on the undated, like when was his last trip?
Some things do keep after the expiration date--the quality may
deteriorate some but it's still edible. Other things go bad easily but
you have to open the can to know it.
