Anne's mom was a sensible woman.
Did great raising her three daughters
to be smart strong women...did a less
than stellar job on the one son...who's
turned out to be pretty much useless
at almost everything...except being a 
bad example. Seems it was her one
weakness...she just could not let
go of him.

There's something about well water.
When I was a kid the well water
on my grandfather's farm was Ice COLD
even in hot humid Tennessee summers. 
When they converted to an electric
pump on the well...they ran the
pipe through the rootcellar before
it came to the house. Kept the 
stored veggies nice and cool even
on the hottest days...and we 
kids used to get into trouble for 
sneaking into the rootcellar to 
cool off on hot days!
