This is now recognized as common (whether coincidental in
this case or indicative) - in some of the attention deficit
disorders. Anyhow, I'm temporarily cured of that, chocolate
making me jumpy again!

I sort of miss that cheap beer taste. Been drinking real
ales, which are more like food than beverage.

So I got me a bottle of cream soda, the Giant generic. It has
a caramelly fake maple sort of taste, even more inappropriate
than cheap beer. The charm of cream soda is its vanilla, and
this lacks. I should have known better, anyway, as the second
ingredient is HFCS.

Title: Rice Pudding

4-6 servings

4 cups milk                       5 Tbsp. sugar
2 cups water                      2 eggs
8 Tbsp. rice                      1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients together.  Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.  Turn
down to medium heat and continue to simmer for 30 min until mixture is
thick.  If mixture is still loose continue on low heat for 10 min more.
Remove from heat.  Beat 2 eggs and 1 tsp. vanilla and stir into rice pudding.
Let stand for 5 min.  Serve warm or chilled.  Top with cinnamon if
desired.
