I would hope so anyway but can't say for sure. After all, they are on a
very limited income & don't know what percentage the insurance money
will cover.

Yes, we keep our toaster on the counter top. When I was a kid, we rarely
had toast so the toaster was (and is) kept in a cabinet. Actually, we
found at a Korean store in MD a toaster oven that has a footprint the
size of a 2 slice toaster. It's a 2 level operation; works well for us.

Depending what it is, I'll buy for specific meals or buy with the
intention of having extras. It's handy weeks when we're both up to our
eyeballs in school work and/or sick on top of that.
