Ärende: Prep work

Hi Ruth,

-> Steve is going to do the final revision on the formatting & I've got to
-> proof/print the book review. After that, a group presentation in class
-> tomorrow night and I'm done!

 RH> Woo hoo!  And you're celebrating with a nap?

Got to bed about midnight and got up about 10 the next morning. Class
officially got out about 9:15 or so but the instructor had to grade
notebooks so we stood around talking, waiting for them. We got home
about 10 but then Steve ran over to the church to do some computer work
for about an hour or so. After I got up yesterday, I found him making
yeast doughnuts (he will have to post the recipe) for a late breakfast.
We did a bit around the house, then headed out to pick out my new
serger. After that, to Whole Foods Market and stopped at a new to us bbq
place in Raleigh. Great food overall, (we didn't like the cole slaw or
the corn bread sticks) we will return. I had a small pulled pork plate
that had enough meat for 3 meals; Steve had the chicken livers that he
said were fried to perfection. Both of us had okra (nice small pieces);
he had brunswick stew and I had potato salad. The latter was a bit
disappointing; I've had better and worse. Then on to get grocery basics.

Today I put together a dessert and potato salad for a pot luck tomorrow.
We had last night's left overs (I've still got bbq left) for lunch after
a trip to the farmer's market. We had also gotten banana pudding for
dessert--it had sponge cake in it as well as the nilla wafers. We are
definately planning on going back!

-> It's called "keep the albuterol handy" situation. I've got a few bursts
-> of cooking energy but Steve does the clean up.

 RH> Good idea.  I made a pizza tonight with a whole wheat crust.  It
 RH> wasn't the greatest but it was food.

Having had a big lunch, we went with eggs, sausage and toast for supper.

I'm not interested in them, despite all the hoop-la.
