Daddy used either Nabisco Saltines or the store brand (whichever store
he was shopping at at the time)... and his prep wasn't very fussy...  ;)

Sorta similar.  What I remember most about the taste was the meld of the
salty from the cracker with the sweet of the marshmallow... made for a
nice contrast.  :)

Cooking was a shared job in our house... Daddy did some, Mommy did some,
and we kids were taught how to do some of it, to our ability (and
interest) levels.  No gourmet cooking, but generally good basic meals,
with a fair bit of range.
