Looked it up. Interesting stuff. Boy, what people do.
The Budweiser Rocket, eh. And why must a new record
break the old record by 1%? And why is the kilometer
record different from the mile record? Here's the
confusing stuff from the Wikipedia article entitled
Blue Flame (car) -

  The Blue Flame's kilometer record of 1014.513 km/h
  (630.388 mph) lasted until 1997 - for 27 years -
  and was set as an average of the achieved speed in
  both directions ((629.412 + 631.367)/2= 630.388 mph).
  Since the kilometer record was faster than the mile
  record, set on the same two runs, it was the world
  land speed record. Thrust II, in 1983, broke The Blue
  Flame's mile record of 622.407 mph when it went 633
  mph, but did not break the kilometer record by the
  required one percent (636.691 mph) to establish a new
  record for that distance. As a result, The Blue Flame's
  kilometer record was not broken until 1997 when the
  Thrust SSC jet car smashed it while exceeding the
  speed of sound (Mach 1).

Buzz's Base Hot Chocolate
cat: beverage
yield: 1 batch

12 oz dark chocolate
4 oz milk chocolate
8 oz granulated sugar
1 ga milk
2 ts cinnamon powder
1 1/2 ts salt
1 ts nutmeg
1 ts vanilla extract

Combine both chocolates and vanilla extract
in a large bowl and set aside.

Place milk, sugar, salt, and spices in a pot
and bring to a gentle simmer.

Pour the simmering milk over the chocolate and
vanilla. Allow to sit 2 min to soften the
chocolate. Using a whisk or handheld immersion
blender, mix until smooth.

Serve immediately or refrigerate up to one
week and reheat as needed.
