Depends on which direction one is traveling... I'm usually going north
or south on Rt 15, which angles a little to the west as one goes
north...

True... that could have been rather dramatic.  I last drove through that
sort of storm last summer in the Philly area... got confirmation on the
radio that there was a tornado warning as I was finally leaving the
area... I actually saw one rather ominous funnel-ish darkness as I was
getting off I95 to go round Philly on the west side... As I was stuck in
traffic, I couldn't have done much to avoid anything anyway, so was just
as thankful that I'd managed through by the time I did hear that I was
right in my suppositions...

content whichever one has at the moment.  :)
