I've had the opportunity to cook in various dream kitchens.
I highly recommend this, even though in many cases the dream
isn't anywhere close to my dream. Glass cooktops, indeed.

Talking of nutcases. The story has been put forth that he and
Richard Nixon barged into some air force base and viewed the
mangled remains of alien astronauts, and thereupon Gleason
had the flying saucer house built.

You are way too generous on the soup.

Today's task: my friend Bill (another friend Bill) is having a
bash for my friend Link's birthday. In the fridge is a big
roast chicken carcass. I am to do something with this millstone
in order to distill the goodness into such space as allows the
fridge space to be used for leftovers from dinner for 38. I
took the chicken skin and rendered it out for my own delectation
(nobody else touches the stuff, too unhealthy) and will strip
the carcass and boil the bones for broth.

Nother task: Nancy downstairs (remember her from the disastrous
part of the echo picnic a couple years ago?) is disinvited from
the bash, as she has ruined other parties before and since. The
difficulty, which various of us are deputized to address (who
better than me, whom she has actually physically assaulted), is
to prevent her from ruining yet another party. Bill should evict
her, only she must be blackmailing him for something.

Yet another weird task: Bill's boyfriend Paul is after Link.
As is my friend Nancy (another Nancy). Sorting out competing
claims is going to be loads of fun. I hope we all stay sober or
else become blind blitzed in short order, bypassing that
uncomfortable slightly uninhibited and slightly judgment-impaired
stage where these issues are likely to come up.

      Title: Chicken or Turkey Casserole
 Categories: Poultry, Londontowne, Casseroles
      Yield: 1 servings

      1 x  Cubed chicken or turkey             1 cn Cream of mushroom soup
      2 c  Pepperidge Farm Snd Stuffing      1/2 c  Milk
      1 pk String beans, french cut            2 tb Butter, melted
  2 1/2 tb Blanched slivered almonds       1 1/2 c  ravy or 1 can condensed

  Use as much sliced or cubed chicken or turkey as desired. Partially cook
  frozen green beans. Arrange 2/3 c Pepperidge Farm Seasoned Stuffing, green
  beans, and almonds in layers in greased, shallow casserole. Pour over all
  milk. Moisten 1-1/3 c Stuffing with 1/4 c hot water and 2 T melted butter.
  Spread over casserole. Bake in hot (400 degree) oven for 30 minutes or
  until hot and bubbly. You will wonder what to do with the ravy or
  condensed crea, but I'm sure the answer will come to you (M's note).
