Hi Ruth,

Time out for supper between this and the last few messages.  We picked
up a minimally proccessed whole chicken last night and a broccoli crown.
Steve seasoned the chicken with some Brinkman's grill seasoning for
white meat and put it over a can of lemon water (fresh lemon juice and
water).  That went on the grill, followed, a while later, by some Yukon
Gold potatoes wrapped in foil.  The broccoli was cooked after the
chicken was done and resting.  Easy supper, a small amount of clean up.

That probably throws a major league curve ball into the situation.

Undoubtedly.  The main thing our dogs got into outside was the burdock
burrs. Dad used to call some of them a "walking burdock patch", they
were that matted with them at times.

I was shoe horned into a corner spot where access in and out was tight.

But it wasn't ugly to them. (G)

He painted the ceiling before putting up the paneling.  He drew (with
the paint) a target around the hole, an arrow pointing to it and some
wording to the effect indicating who put it there.  Can you imaagine
what the person buying the house in 50 years or so will think when they
take that paneling down?

Ask him.  I said something about making a German potato salad (with the
hot bacon dressing) some time next week and didn't get any objections.
