The kids got off lucky--NC had put in a rule requiring 185 days or 1025
hours of instruction. Adding all the hours so far, plus making a half
day into a full one and accounting for the make up days scheduled, they
don't have to make up any more days. The spring break is shortened a
bit, Saturday school (half day) for year rounders, and other juggling
will meet the requirements.

What was in the jewelry box was a bit of a tangle, mostly, but not all
costume. I had some jade and turquoise in that box as well. The good
pieces that they got were in a separate location, in their boxes. No
semi needed, even a pickup truck bed would have been too big.

Good that the car didn't slide, not so good you did. All our snow is
gone but we're due for another storm next week. Guess I'd best plan on
doing some shopping again.

As a general rule, yes. Haven't tried Papa Murphy's yet--you get your
crust & topping (don't know if it's assembled there or you do it) and
take it home to bake. They don't offer a whole wheat crust so we've
never bothered checking them out.
